BoardVitals offers a wide range of board-style practice questions for over 50 board exams and medical specialties. These questions are designed to help you study effectively and are accompanied by detailed explanations and rationales for correct and incorrect answers. What sets BoardVitals apart is that all these questions are written and reviewed by physicians and clinicians who have recently taken the board exams themselves.
With BoardVitals' mobile app, you can access your test prep materials from anywhere. Whether you have a few minutes between classes, during rounds, or on your commute, or if you prefer to dedicate longer periods of time to practice questions, BoardVitals has you covered.
One of the great features of the BoardVitals Mobile App is offline access. You can download your custom quizzes and study with or without an internet connection.
BoardVitals provides top tools to help you practice with confidence. With similar testing features to those found in the actual exams, you can effectively tackle test anxiety. You can highlight key passages, strike out answer choices to eliminate distractors, mark questions for review, and make notes for specific questions.
Mastering the format of your exams is crucial for success, and BoardVitals' question banks cover multiple formats such as multiple-choice, select all that apply, graphic items, hot spot items, fill in the blank calculations, audio questions, and exhibit questions.
You can further customize your quizzes by choosing from three quiz types:
<ol>
<li>Study Mode: Similar to an open book quiz without a time limit, allowing you to read explanations as you go and practice at your own pace.</li>
<li>Test (Untimed) Mode: Simulates a closed book quiz without a time limit. Answers and explanations are not available during the quiz.</li>
<li>Test (Timed) Mode: Mimics the pressure of a test environment. Answers and explanations are only revealed after completing the quiz.</li>
</ol>
If you are preparing for the NCLEX exam, you can practice in Computer Adaptive Test mode (CAT), which adjusts to your abilities by providing easier or harder questions based on your previous answers.
BoardVitals provides detailed analytics to help you monitor your progress. You can evaluate your answer response time, see how you compare with others answering the same questions through Peer Rank metrics, and track your own performance over time on your dashboard.
